FS2000 VFR OKLAHOMA SCENERY 
Welcome to Boise City Oklahoma. Boise City Municipal is located in the far western end of the Oklahoma panhandle. Local lore has it that Boise City has one distinction that no other city in the continental United States has. Boise City was the only American mainland city to be bombed in World War 2. The story goes that there was a town built in that part of the country to be used for bomber practice. One night the lights failed on the target town. There was Boise City lit up like a beacon, our boys laid a stick of practice bombs across the town square! The airport features one asphalt runway and has lights for night operations It also has seasonal textures and no flatten switch is required. This airport, as all but number 1 are default airports for FS2000. You can use the AFD entry for flight planning and it will show on the FS2000 GPS. By Dale Baker
