FS2002 Challenger II of Sean D. Tucker
The Challenger is rebuilt every year by Sean D. Tucker's own "POWER Aerobatic Team". However, the aircraft Sean was flying earlier to the top of the airshow world was a very highly modified Pitts S-2S but it became more modified every winter. Nowadays it is a one-of-a kind Biplane. Only the engine is taken from stock S-2S, even though it is highly modified too. The magicians at Lycon are able to take a stock Lycoming AEIO-540-D4B5 engine that normally produces 260 horsepower and coax 380+ horsepower from it. This gMax design features opening canopy; dynamic virtual cockpit with extra sharp gauges; fully animated control surfaces; compressing gear; rolling tires; reflective textures; two paintjobs (10-10-220 and Oracle); crash effects and authentic smoke, including red wingtip smoke. FS2002 Pitts S-1E "Little Oscar"
The Australian Pitts S1-E VH-IOO, or 'Little Oscar' as it's affectionately known was built in 1976 and for most of it's life it was owned by Bonnie Palmer - RIP In 1995. 'Little Oscar' was purchased by Michael Martin and was restored and repainted by Nigel Arnot, from Paddy Martin's design. 'Little Oscar' lived in Mackay, Queensland, Australia for 2 years until both VH-MKE and 'Little Oscar' were sold in 1996 & 1997 Respectively.Both aircraft still exist in their current liveries in Australia and are owned by 2 different people in New South Wales. FS2002 Pitts S-1S (extra liveries)
The Pitts is fully aerobatic with structural limits of +6 and -3 G's. The S1-S achieved its finest moment during the 1972 World Aerobatic Championship in Salon de Provence, France. Charlie Hillard used the Pitts unique characteristics to perform his signature "Torque Roll," a delayed tail slide where the aircraft continues to roll while falling backward. His four minute freestyle performance earned his and America's first World Championship.
