FS2000 MBB/KAWASAKI BK117 version 2
Designed using Abacus' AF99. Moving parts produced using Konstantin Kukushkin's superb Aircraft Animator. The BK117 was designed as a multi-purpose helicopter, it was hoped that it would capitalise on the developing market for twin engined helicopters in the off-shore oil industry support role in the Gulf of Mexico, North Sea and Arabian Gulf. The aircraft was a joint venture between MBB and Kawasaki. More powerful than the BO 105, the prototype made its first flight on 13th of June 1979. It incorporated many new features at the time, one of which was the use of fibreglass main rotor blades, considered much safer than steel blades.

N966H , a Beechcraft King Air C90 . The cabin is configured for 8 passengers. This model is intended for Flight Simulator 98. It can be used with FS2000 - however it is strongly recommended that you instead download the FS2000 version. Release 1c incorporates a fix to the starboard main undercarriage door, and corrects a naming problem which resulted in the aircraft appearing untextured. SINCERE APOLOGIES to all those people who were inconvenienced by these errors. The visual model is highly accurate. Repainted by Kevin Michael
