FS2004 Piaggio P-166DL3 V 5
Animted gears, dampers, propellers, doors, and control surfaces, Dynamic Clickable VC. The fifth of the coming P-166 aircraft series. I'm going to built the whole family of these graceful twins. The Piaggio P-166A is a light small twin. An Exotic two-engined prop that sold all over the world including America, UK, and Australia. The P-166DL3 is the actual production version of a plane that firt flew in 1957, now with turboprop engines, new avionics, increased fuel capacity, and completly new hydraulic and electric system. Its origin is traced Back to the Piaggio P-136, a light anphibian, which the P-166 keeps the wings, the engines and the tailplanes. The first P-166A flew in November 1957, and the DL3 is dated 1976. It has newer versions for special roles, like anti-submarine patrols, cargo and similar (these versions will be included in a future package of DL3 special versions). The aircraft waits to be repalced by a new version, the P-166DP-1, with PT-6A engines. This model is 696 Kbs with c.a. 21000 polygons in c.a.160 assemblies. FS2004 Beech Bonanza V35B
The V-tailed Bonanza started out in 1947 as the only Bonanza. At first the 35 had 185 hp for takeoff. As it evolved over 35 years it gained a few hundred pounds, two seats and 100 more horsepower. FS2004 PARAFOIL
This is a very accurate geometric model and a reasonably accurate flight model of the type of gliding parachute know as a ParaFoil. The general type is also known as a 'ram air wing' because it keeps its wing and airfoil shape inflated by ram pressure from the air as it flies. I did research on this type of canopy for many years when I worked for the US Army at the Natick Laboratories in Natick, MA. My work included study of wind tunnel data, study of stability and control, study of automatic homing methods and a study of flight dynamics. My tools were wind tunnels, computer simulation and flight testing using remote control and carrying flight data recorders. BY TOM GOODRICK

FS2002/FS2004 Ried Kirchheim (LOLK) V1.0
Ried Kirchheim is a small Airfield about 33NM west of Linz, Austria. The Ried Kirchheim scenery is made of custom made objects. For the Objects I use ZMODELER, MAKEMDL, MSPaint and DXTBMP. All textures are made from digital photographs. Runway, taxiways and airport facility data are made with Airport for Windows 3.0 Build 188, SCASM, and BUMPY. Anse Pleureuse is situated in the Gaspé peninsula, about half way between Ste Anne des Monts and Gaspé. Anse Pleureuse does exist but the scenery is entirely fictitious. It could be said that not long ago, almost everyone on the Gaspé peninsula could build fine wooden fishing boats. It is this context that inspired me to do this scenery. By Leon Louis
